1891-CC Morgan Dollar,
Year: 1891CC
Condition: PCGS MS-64
Description: (SOLD Feb. 2015 - the listing left posted for the information value) An attractive, bright white "no doubt" Choice BU example of this tougher Carson City Mint date. Also an example of the "Spitting Eagle" variety (VAM 3), so named for a small die gouge in front of the Eagle's beak. While not rare, it is famous as one of the first "VAMs" to catch the public's attention after the GSA Dollar sales of the 1970's.

1903-S Morgan Dollar, Micro S, Original and RARE
Year: 1903S
Condition: PCGS VF-20
Description: Micro S Mintmark variety, presumed to have occurred when a punch meant for the Barber Quarter was mistakenly applied to a Morgan Dollar die. VAM 3, a "Top 100" variety and the original "King" to the VAM series, still unknown today in Unc grades, which is no surprise as the 1903-S is a huge key date in Unc in any case. A PROBLEM FREE original coin out of an old Northwest Dollar hoard. Very difficult to find in a PCGS holder as the date itself is scarce in VF, and most coins seem to have been cleaned, making them ineligible for a "normal" certification. PCGS Price Guide value of $600.
