HK-328A, one of the U. S. Government Building SCD's from the 1905 Lewis & Clark Exposition in Portland, Oregon. This is SH 14-3 as catalogued in Jeff Shevlin's new text on West Coast Exposition medals. Certified NGC AU-58, that is about as technical grade as you can get - I have seen worse in MS-62 holders. Nothing you would call actual "wear", just signs of light handling and a few marks as the result of being impounded in a Portland-area non-numismatic accumulation for a Century+. NO visible wear through the Silvering. Very scarce as an NGC certified piece, only this and three others in MS-62/63 as of October, 2018. I certainly thought that it was worthy of at least an MS-62 grade, and it may well wind up in such a holder if resubmitted later. Valued in Jeff's book at $150 in AU-50, $295 in MS-60.
