HK-331A, a souvenir of the 1905 Lewis & Clark Exposition in Portland, Oregon. Jeff Shevlin's new text on SCD of the West Coast Expositions catalogues this as SH 14-4 (36.5mm). While relatively common as a TYPE, since they seem to have made a lot of these, very scarce Uncirculated. Almost all seemed to have gone directly into a pocket or purse, to be abused by the contents therein. In the Condition Census for the variety. NGC MS-63PL, less than 10 in the grade plus two DMPL, either better than MS-63. This presents nicer surfaces than my images show when viewed in person. The nature of the P/L fields meant I could not really get a good image without major "flares" of reflection.
