Mexico 8 Reales 1821 Zs/RG, KM-111, the last year of Spanish Colonial coinage. Almost Uncirculated, certified ANACS AU-53. Interesting color suggests many years held in a paper envelope - a cousin of the 1795 8 Reales I am also offering, as they came out of the same old stash. This also seems significantly well struck for these issues. A nice high grade example of this popular "Pirate Treasure". Also legal tender in the new United States at the time, and used by James Madison and Thomas Jefferson to fix the value of the U. S. Dollar, as these coins were the "gold standard" (so to speak) of world Silver coinage.
