A very nice original AU-58 example of this Key Date, with an absolute minimum of wear. Likely to have spent no more than a week or two in circulation before being put aside. Certainly many commercial dealers would try to call this “Unc”, based upon what I encounter. The light scattering of tiny "freckles" is all I can note in the way of any potential issues with the coin. These are tiny pits/spots either due to an alloy mix problem which left Copper on the surface of the coin where it differentialy reacted with environmental factors (i. e. “rusted”), or from old minor finger contact resulting in the same issue. Priced at about an AU-50 value to account for the very minor “issues”.
