Choice Almost Uncirculated, equivalent to a certified AU-53/55.  Minimal wear to the Obverse, just some hash across Liberty's cheek/neck with pretty much all of the luster remaining in the fields.  The Reverse appears to show NO evident wear and has full luster.  Great old album toning, which I guarantee is genuine as I know where it came from.  The classic bright blue around the rims with scattered sea green mixed in, with yellows and reds towards the center.  Nicer than I could properly image.  There are some Obverse hairlines which suggests that this might have been in an old folder or coin board, and got lightly "wiped" at some point.  Probably would not certify except as a Details coin BUT certainly still more than worthy for someone who wants a NICE coin for an album.  Very scarce in AU and Unc grades (R-6 in the opinion of David Lawrence Sr.), and considering that most high end circulated examples got heavily abused, anything with eye appeal and close to original should be worth a premium.
