Almost Uncirculated, sharp detail equivalent to a mid-grade AU-53/55.  Typical old cleaning, which was light and the color has recovered to an attractive pearl-gray.  Minor edge bump as shown. This still retains a considerable amount of eye appeal and is certainly still suitable as a high grade Type example, and far better than the typical scrubbed out "flat white", screwed up "AU" coins I see offered by many "dealers".  Normally a $1,500-$2,000 coin in this grade range.  Offered at the Net Wholesale value of an AU-50.
