Uncirculated, a lightly baggy BU typical of the lower Mint State grades.  95% white, just a touch of light yellow rim toning from some years spent in an album.  When it was discovered that the Mint had added one too many tailfeathers to the Reverse of the new Dollar design, most of the coins struck were held back from circulation. The resulting storage for a number of years meant a large number of the Mintage of ¾ Million picked up a fair amount of marks. Coins in MS-64 and better are scarce.
