Images of the individual sides taken prior to submission.  One word to describe this coin: ORIGINAL.  Somewhat typical slightly mushy '02-S strike with slightly subdued luster, as noted in Miller.  However, attractive overall with obvious luster under yellow-gray toning.  This example does not display the common planchet striations that seem to plague this issue.  Just about perfect color for a circulated coin in this grade, and probably a 45 in another holder.  Rare CAC: 137 at PCGS in the grade, 89 NGC versus only TWO at CAC (plus 1 CACG).  Given, a coin in this value range is somewhat less likely to be submitted for grading, and maybe even less so to be sent to CAC for a "bean", but a 1% pass rate still tells you something.  If you are trying to put together a truly original high end circulated set of Morgan Dollars, you would have a hard time finding a better looking coin.  A solid circulated example of this somewhat underrated Semi Key date and 100% original.
