An original AU/Unc, in my opinion what you will typically see in a certified AU-58 holder.  As typical for this date, the surfaces show a sense of "roughness", which has been described as a matte or sand-blasted looking effect.  This is as struck and may be due to how the dies were prepared - 1924 Philly Peace Dollars can show this as well.  However, unlike many if not most coins of the date, well struck with near full detail on the Eagle's wing.  95% of the original luster under light silver-gray toning, some light scattered marks.  Nicer than a lot of this date that I see, even on the West Coast.
