Some of the typical light scuffs and marks associated with the assigned grade, not readily visible due to the toning. The moderate red-gray toning on the Obverse does not hide the obvious luster. Unfortunately, many MS-61 and 62 certified Peace Dollars are “questionable” at best as to whether they are actually Uncirculated, as the grading services have tended to let through many coins that I would call “pick outs”. Many of the other genuinely BU coins have noticeable or heavy bag marks and reedmarks, due to how late date Peace Dollars were moved and stored (most were not released after striking, until many years later). However this is the real deal - a decent Unc example of this lower mintage P Mint date. These seem entirely too cheap compared to the difficulty of finding an example.
