Official Souvenir Medal from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in Saint Louis. Swoger 15. An original Gem Uncirculated example, certified NGC MS-65. These were struck at the Philadelphia Mint as all precious metal-content pieces across the series were I believe, original mintage reported as being 6,002 pieces (the odd two likely for the Assay Commission). A blush of light smoky reddish-gray toning to show its unblemished originality. A bit unusual as most Silver pieces seem to have been dipped or cleaned along the way. A common enough piece, however not typically this nice.
