1913-S Type Two Buffalo Nickel, ANACS MS-60, Certified Key Date
Certified ANACS MS-60, in an old mini "soapbox" holder. A nice sharp strike for the date, with attractive original surfaces and obvious luster. Minimal very tiny contact marks visible even under 10-15x magnification; most of what I see are minor planchet marks not fully struck out. If you wish to be exceedingly picky, you might detect "wear" on the Reverse on the absolute highest points of the coin, i. e. the hipbones/tail end, shoulder and horn, mainly visible due to minor color differences. Based upon my knowledge of the series, this is likely due to the coin having laid Reverse down somewhere, as the Obverse shows bupkis. My opinion therefore is that this is an old school "Net" grade, as on balance the coin appears MS-63. I live in the real world however and realize how people on ebay view non-PCGS/NGC/CACG grading, regardless of era, so my price is based upon my opinion of what this coin is worth, at the equivalent of AU-58. It would certainly regrade as at least that level if resubmitted today.
