Very attractive with flashy lustrous surfaces, medium reddish-brown with blue highlights, some touches of original Red here and there in well protected areas. Well struck as most specimens of this Semi-key date tend to be, with good definition in Lincoln’s beard (although not totally complete). A pretty coin and certainly worthy despite the slightly limited grade “number”. Traditionally, one of the toughest dates to find in Mint State, with PCGS estimating as few as 2,000 coins surviving in all color designations.
