An original example of the last of the so-called "Philippine" dates.  In this case, it never made it to the Archipelago as this was recovered out of an ex-California hoard.  Slightly "grubby" and problem free, like you wished all Barber Halves were.  In my opinion this would almost certainly CAC if submitted and priced accordingly (I might try later).
