Details equivalent to AU-50/53. This coin was recovered out of a California hoard and lightly cleaned to remove some toning.  While the combination of the brief circulation that this saw and the cleaning left the surfaces a bit scruffy, they are not horrible by any means.  The surfaces are not "stripped" and the coin retains significant obvious luster, more than my images show.  There is a scratch on the Eagle's chest on the Reverse, partially hidden by the toning present there, mentioned for accuracy.  Due to the surface issues, I am positive that this would not certify in anything other than a Details holder, so did not bother to send it in.  Regardless, given how difficult this date is to find in better circulated grades, not something that I am just going to give away.  The price listed indicates what I think this coin should be worth to someone who just wants a decent looking example to put into an album. For reference purposes, current Wholesale in AU-50 is $2,000, AU-53 $2,300.
