A nice brown coin with plenty of obvious luster and virtually no wear from circulation.  Choice Almost Uncirculated, equivalent to what will normally certify AU-58.  A small, very light scratch on the Reverse above "HALF" is the only distraction, otherwise this would already be in a PCGS holder (and priced $100 higher).   Considering that most examples I tend to see have been cleaned, usually badly, or have significant damage, this is a reasonable alternative.
