(Sold on ebay in 2019 - my apologies, however I have forgotten the sales price) HK-340A, San Francisco Earthquake & Fire Souvenir.  One of the most quality-challenged SCD of the early 20th Century, both due to how they appear to have been manufactured, and the nature of the distribution.  Issues with these were inevitable as they were apparently distributed immediately after the event, so most found today are damaged or bear signs of having been buried at one point.  PROHIBITIVELY Scarce to Rare in Uncirculated, the NGC Census shows 4 in MS-61 and one in MS-62; none at PCGS (Feb 2019).  Perhaps oddly enough, I certified one of the other 61 and THIS specimen I think is nicer than that other.  Nice original "antiqued" silvered surfaces, no major marks just the one scuff on the Reverse at 11:00 in the field to the left of the City Hall dome.  Regardless of the "limited" grade, an opportunity that does not present itself very often.  Price discovery is a challenge as there are no sales to go by, so as they say "go find another".
