In an older Gen 4.0 holder (1998-2002) with a complete problem free hologram.  No damage to the holder, with a few very light surface scuffs just due to age and minor handling. Tougher slab to find without problems today; this has been in a long time collection until recently, explaining the clean holder.  The coin itself is well struck with excellent definition on the Bison compared to many if not most.  No clash marks, significant die erosion/wear, laminations, toning streaks or other planchet problems common to 1920's S Mint Buffs, with nice "satiny" luster and some attractive old album color.  Just a touch sharper than an example Heritage sold this March at $4,270; that coin was untoned but maybe had just a bit less eye appeal.  I offer a 5% discount on this item if paid for by check.
