About as "red" as a BN coin can show without being called Red Brown; certainly I would say on the upper end of the BN/RB scale.  I have noticed that PCGS, especially, tends to be snottier on assigning color attribution on common dates - the more "common" a coin is perceived to be, the tougher it is to get RB or RD designations.  Either way, a very pretty coin that is a solid CAC candidate, just not worth my time and money to submit it (coin is a recent PCGS cert that I submitted and has not been seen by CAC).
