1916-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar, Almost Uncirculated, PCGS Certified Key Date

1916-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar, Almost Uncirculated, PCGS Certified Key Date
(Cross listed from ebay, for those who find their way here) Almost Uncirculated, in my opinion, an AU-50 for detail. Certified PCGS Details for what they called a "stain". The only possibility of a "problem" I can see in that regard is a small dull area on the Reverse across AMERICA, where the luster is diminished - otherwise I have no idea what PCGS is talking about. In all other respects a typical early date Walking Liberty Half in AU. No significant marks, a scattering of the usual scuffing however a considerable amount of obvious luster remaining. A light touch of rim toning as this spent some years in an album page; this is TONING and not whatever specious "stain" PCGS may have detected. I can guarantee that outside this holder 95%+ of anyone looking at this could not detect a problem - the average dealer certainly would not or even mention the possibility. Personally, I would just crack out the coin and put it into an album page - "buy the coin, not the holder". Not a CAC coin obviously, but worthy of consideration as otherwise this is a $1,300-$1,400 coin.
