Spanish Colonial Mexico 8 Reales 1795 Mo/FM, KM-109. Choice Extremely Fine, certified ANACS EF-45. Interesting color suggests many years held in a paper envelope. A nice high grade example of this popular "Pirate Treasure". Also legal tender in the new United States at the time, and used by James Madison and Thomas Jefferson to fix the value of the U. S. Dollar, as these coins were the "gold standard" (so to speak) of world Silver coinage. A “cousin” of the 1821 8 Reales also listed here, as they came from the same source.
