An original Choice Very Fine example, certified PCGS VF-30. Claims to a higher surface preservation, the grade "net" reduced by the presence of a natural planchet flaw at the date.  While this obviously confused the issue for the original submitter who apparently did not notice, this is an obvious Overdate, with the strong remnant of an underlying "6" showing to the left of the stand of the second "7", as shown in our enlarged image.  This is not part of the planchet flaw.  PCGS did not bother to mention this simply as they were not paid to do so, or did not notice (PCGS will not seemingly do anything unless paid the extra attribution fee). Regardless a very pleasing and natural looking coin, with attractive surfaces.  Very difficult to price as few trades available to compare to. The only other coin available elsewhere (Feb. 2019) I could find is a lightly impaired EF in an ANACS holder at $900.  Given the originality and surfaces of this piece, regardless of the planchet flaw, and the fact that it is in a PCGS holder, we feel that our asking price is reasonable.
